Okay, so it's really not that magical, but even so...it's here.
I hope you guys like all the updates, especially the new story, She's Electric, which is not...I repeat...not an Adam story...it's a Jesse story. So...haha!
Soon, there will be Ryan centered, Mickey centered, and James centered stories...although Spider's Web will soon have Ryan being front and center when a new character, kinda sorta, comes along. Once you read CH. 3 & 4...it'll be clearer...sooner.
Well, I'm jamming this in as the clock strikes 12:20am, so I've gotta catch some sleep.

So I finally got the creative spurt that I've been looking for since my return from spring break. And boy has it struck me!
Currently there is a huge update ready for you all...and it's a reeeaaaallllyyyy good one, too. There's a lot of new chapters that are being added to the site as soon as possible, which should be by tonight. It's all going to depend on how much of Chapter 5 of Spider's Web I can finish.
Well, for now this is just a short little blog today.
Oh and message to James: "You feed your pigs bacon? That's cruel...I'm calling PETA on you." Haha!

Guess what? Can you believe that I come back from San Francisco (okay, so it was 5 days ago, but still...) and I lose 3 pounds! Three pounds! It shocks the hell out of me that I could go on vacation, eat food that's not the greatest, and shop my head off...yet still lose that amount of weight. Hmm...I think shopping is a sport. Or, at least I (and a million other young women) think so...MR. SMITH!
James, shopping is a sport, hun...I'm convinced. Yes, I know though...and I completely agree, guitar is the best. If playing guitar made you lose weight, I think I might be a popsicle. Or I'd at least look like Gwen Stefani (I'm not a fan of models, and I admire her greatly...so there.)!
Okay, so now back to the site... As soon as I finish Chapter 3 of Spider's Web, which should be sometime this evening, I should be able to update the sight. I know...I screwed up with Ch 49 and 50 of NYCT, but they will be up later, rest assured!!!!!! There is a surprise in store...actually...there's a new story coming up. It's called She's Electric...after an Oasis song of the same title. I love that song. So Beatles...soooo Beatles.
"She's Electric...she's in a family full of eccentrics. She's done things I never expected and I need more time..." I think that's pretty descriptive of me...although, I might just have to change my MySpace headline to be "She's electric..." instead of "She's a rebel/she's a saint/she's the salt of the earth/and she's dangerous..." I'm not sure.
What do you think? But back to the site.
There will be an update on Hungry Eyes, Everything Zen, Spider's Web, and She's Electric. I would love some more fan fiction submissions and reviews on the message boards are always appreciated!

The hurricane arrived on Sunday...yes, my grandmother and grandfather came home from Florida.
Things wrong with my life so far (as stated by my grandmother)
- I play too much guitar
- My dress for my cousin's bar-mitzvah is too dressy and it's too loud (it's black and burgundy, btw)
- I have too many Maroon 5 posters on my wall (Okay, now...in my defense...is this really possible?)
- I listen to too much music
- My hair is too straight and parted too far in the middle (Oh well, I have curly hair...sorry, Nana)
- I don't have enough patience for my sister (Now, this I can agree with, but 15yo + 5yo = screaming)
- I don't do enough homework (um...no)
- My room is too messy (I happen to keep a very clean room, thank you. I do make my bed, too)
- My clothes aren't nice enough (sorry I'm not a spoiled, rich, preppy girl...I'm a rocker chick...tough)
- I have too many earrings (I've had my ears pierced since 1/04, but I have at least 86 pairs...so?).
Life's a little hectic now, so I'm going to try and do all I can to update...for all my friends, especially *Torry* and Laur and Nessa... I heart you all!

Hey all,
There should be an update soon...now that I am done with midterms. Stay tuned guys!
Just a few little factoids for y'all (funny for a Brooklyn girl to say that, huh?):
1. Just placed well in debate comp last week...I'm getting first next week, I promise!
2. Maroon 5 Tour was announced...took me forever to find presale passwords and all that, but I got them. See you guys from the 6th row!!!!!!!!!!!
3. Went out and bought a birthday crown from Party City to wear at the concert, after all, it'll be two days after my birthday, and I'm convinced I'm buyng one for Jesse since his will have been four days earlier.
4. Been writing a lot in school for the fiction...more like outlining the next Chapters of NYCT!
5. Enjoying all of the emails you guys are sending, plus the ones for Adam's Thinking of You Card. They really do rock, I must say!
6. Midterms went extremely well...I only got a B on my Geometry midterm, cause God knows, honors classes suck! Especially when, so far, I've had to memorize at least 65 different theorems. Everything else was A's A's A's! Woo hoo!
I hope you all have a great weekend and look for an update around Monday or Tuesday.
I'm off to purchase another set of tickets for my mom, her friend (the friend that I'm going with's mom), and my friend's little brother cause we can't go alone, of course. Hehe. And if we get better seats that way, God knows Tara and I are taking them.

Hi everyone! I have been snowed in all weekend, and I am sure you expected tons of updates, but I decided to do it all in one big post. So...there's about a 10 chapter addition and tons of surprises in store.
Notice any new graphics? Ahh....you must have noticed the new SSOYAICG and NYC Traffic banners, care of yours truely. I love Photoshop...thank you, Daddy. LOL
Well, it's official...Debate Comp. is Saturday...7am...in Ridge. Two hours away, so I have to be at school at 6:50 and we'll make it there by 9:30...hopefully.
So, snow is fun, except for poor James. For those of you who are clueless, James is a good friend of mine that lives in the same development as I do. He had bronchitis about 2 weeks ago...now he's got it again. I'm telling you, cursed be the snow...but I can't. I like snow days (take that Adam! I know you don't like the cold, but LA boys don't get snow days, now do they??? Huh? Huh? Although I can't say the same for Mr. Nebraska.
Well, I'm trying to help Nessa cure herself of writer's block, poor dear...but my Adam inspiration is always helping. (Note to all: Make sure, when you tell you friends to listen to Closer, warn them about the unexpected chorus...I did...and it still did nothing, huh Ness?)
I found a really great website to download videos(including the previously elusive ROOM RAIDERS...can I just say that Harper was a little...um...how can I put this nicely...dull edged. And that, my fellow Marooneys, is putting it nicely. I'm sure you're a great girl, Harper, but, um, get a clue sometime. Let's see...drumsticks...drums...I know! DRUMMER! DING DING DING! And the umbrella...if that didn't make me want to jump into the screen and scream at her...I don't know what did.

Hi everyone, I'm snowed in this weekend (and have no school tomorrow, take that LA!), so my update is extensive and really good, too. Hehe.

Yes, it's that time again. Update time is here again! Yay!
Awards and new quotes are up...along with an update from three stories and the message boards! Woo hoo!
I am very happy to announce that I have officially shoved a huge slice of humble pie down my Modern World history "imitation-teacher's" throat. She wouldn't let me into AP US History for next semester because I was "inconsistent with my application to my work." Okay, riiiiiight.
Basically, you need an A- average and her recommendation. I had an 89.9 last marking period, which she refused to round up to a 90. Pissed me off? Yes. So, this semester, I am running a 95.8. Take that you evil witch! Mwahhhhh!
Okay, back to semi-normalcy here, cause, as we all know, I am not normal.
I was really tired this morning and had absolutely zero desire to go to school today. None whatsoever. I'm telling you though, Orange Juice (which by the way, is on the I love the 90's part deux commercial... killer, lol) is good for raising your energy levels. I had a glass of that and bam! I was awake. I hate mornings though, getting on a school bus, which is rather uncomfortable to begin with, is noooo bargain. At all! Thank God for the fact that a lot of my friends are in my development.
JAMES, if you read this, 2 months to your license and you are driving me every morning. I hate that damn bus. However, Matt will still have his cast from that fall still and will take the entire backseat. Yeah. That'll be hilarious.
You see, I went to Florida on vacation and we took my sister, Sam (and now you know where my affinity for the name Samantha comes from), who's 4, to Magic Kingdom. We were waiting in line to get on Aladdin's magic carpet ride (beware: if you are in the air, the camels do squirt water. I learned this the hard way)and I got a phone call from my best friend, mentioned above, James, saying our friend Matt is in the hospital, in Virginia, because he was a moron and did the whole egotistical, male thing and basically said look at me, look at me. (Personally, I think he might as well have painted himself neon orange, another horrible 80's fad, and he would have gotten less attention) and tried to board off of a ramp. Well, let's put it nicely. He missed. Big time.
A wrist sprain and a broken leg later, he's now on crutches for quite some time. Poor Matt, I feel bad, but dude...you knew it was stupid. Now he gets all the attention he wanted...he just can't revel in it. Oh darn.
Seriously though, these blisters are not getting any better...worse. I can't get my feet wet without feeling like they're on fire. Ms. Benson, run and hide, dear. Run and freakin' hide.
Bowling league is on friday night and I fully intend to kick Dave's ass from here to Winnipeg, Manitoba if he doesn't show up. So far, there's been 28 weeks. How many times has he shown up???? Seven times and yet, somehow, he manages to be number one in the league with a 185 average...and me? I'm stuck with a 135. Life's not fair, but I'll suck it up with a smile. Except in the impostor-history teacher from hell...she could yell and scream for all I care. Screw her. Oh, I'm so nice sometimes.
Well, now that it's 12:39am in NJ, I'm going to go now, but have a great day people! Keep on smiling!

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a lovely New Year and that you watched Maroon 5 perform not once, but twice on NBC (by the way, I had tickets to go, but it rained and my parents refused to let me go.) For all of you that noticed that when the Adam, James, Jesse, Mickey, and Ryan were breathing, as I hope they were doing ;-), it seemed like smoke was coming out of their mouths (it was especially obvious when Adam was singing), and wondered what the hell was going on, I have an explanation for you all. It was a tape, from 12/12/04 at NBC studios. Being a Jersey girl, I had a great opportunity to go, but was not allowed. Grrrrrr. I totally understand, I guess catching pneumonia before a major Debate team competion was not necessary, plus my coach, Mr. Morgan, would have killed me.
Good news:
~ Maroon 5, as discussed by James and Adam on Daily Download, may be touring with the Donnas, Phantom Planet, and Rilo Kiley!
My reaction: Woo hoo! Jesse, if you should ever read this, which is highly doubtful, but anyways, you have officially gotten me hooked on RK! Thank you.
~ A fifth single will be released. The question is...which one?
My reaction: Shiver or the Sun? I think Shiver is a little too much like Harder to Breathe (in it's genre, not it's actual sound, if you get what I mean), but then again, that was their first hit and hey, it could achieve an even greater success. The Sun is more intricate in it's sound. I like the clavicle in the song and it adds an interesting sound. It has more of a Sunday Morning, eclectic feel to it, which I happen to love. Both would be great choices. My guitar teacher, Stan, and I agree, though...it's The Sun.
~ I wrote some new songs...purely uninteresting, I know, but just a little extra info. ;-)

To avoid a lengthening post, I'll just tell you what songs I have learned.

Bad News
*Placed 7th in NJ State Debate Competition (for Extemporaneous Speaking) at Montvale.
My reaction: It was a total honor and I was really proud to placed so high...Marlboro's a very small team and no one else placed in anything...but 1-6 get a trophy. Bummer? I know.

I am the ultimate wingwoman! Can I just say that like right now?
How about playing a song called Call me, beep me if you want to reach me and then dousing your friend's skates in water so that she can skate her number across the floor and then making sure the skate guard watched it so that he could call her. Is that not creative? I think so.
Cell numbers in the rentals are for amateurs!

Big news, everyone! M5 Fan Fiction is going .com! Yep, Maroon5FanFiction.com is in the construction process and will be up A.S.A.P. For now, though, updates will still be going on and eventually everything will be put on the site. Someplace... will be unveiled at the opening of the site!
